Jeph Willis

Producer/Promoter Jeph Willis has been instrumental in the advancement of the performing and fine arts in the core of America’s Entertainment capital—Los Angeles. As a native Angeleno, Jeph identified with the vast diversity of cultures and has taken on the challenge of providing a platform for the many confluences of arts and musical expressions offered by L.A.’s cornucopia of entertainment styles and creative appetites.

The youngest of a creative and family of seven comprised of fashion designers, singers and visual artists, Jeph, an accomplished artist in his own right, was inspired by his four elder siblings, who performed gospel music as the Willis Singers. His oldest brother Al, a locally-renowned professional artist, continues the legacy and provides the inspiration for much of Jeph’s work as a presenter and promoter. A graduate of Los Angeles High School, Jeph was active in music and theatre and went on the study at the Theater Academy of Los Angeles’ City College.

Along with Homeless Artist’s Local Forum, Founder Kevin Johnson, and San Francisco Recovery Theatre Director, Geoffrey Grier, Jeph dedicated his unique talent, business savvy and resources to the establishment of the Los Angeles Recovery Theatre. LARC provides a support group for performing and fine artists in recovery, helping create an environment of stability in their lives and a platform for reintegration into mainstream society. Working together with Corporation for History Art & Culture (C.H.A.C) President Daniel Taylor, Jeph has been instrumental in the development of an Inter-Cultural Arts, Entertainment & Media Arts Center in the Old # 23 (“Ghostbusters”) Firehouse in the heart of LA’s Skid Row.
